Considered a national symbol of wildlife in Costa Rica and Honduras, the White-Tailed Doe is one of the most common mammals in America. Once an adult, she can measure up to 4 feet high for a weight of up to 132 pounds. Once the reproductive period is complete, the gestation of the female can last up to 205 to 216 days, or 7 months. A single litter can count from 1 to 3 pups each weighing between 4 and 9 pounds at birth.
